Scott Hanlon is a seasoned Associate Broker with over three decades of experience in commercial real estate. Currently affiliated with Powell Property Group, Inc., Scott has built a reputation for disciplined execution and strategic advisory across office, industrial, and land transactions throughout Georgia and beyond.
Scott began his career in 1982 with Days Inn of America, Inc., serving as a Quality Assurance Representative, before transitioning into commercial brokerage in 1986 with Peachtree Crossing Realty, Inc. He later served as Vice President and Associate Broker at King Industrial Realty, Inc., where he played a pivotal role in industrial and investment transactions for fifteen years.
Throughout his career, Scott has been actively involved in land acquisition, build-to-suit development, leasing, and investment sales. His experience spans complex, multi-phase commercial projects and tenant representation across Georgia and in select out-of-state markets. He is known for his ability to conduct thorough market analyses tailored to client specifications and for negotiating lease and sale agreements with precision.
In addition to his brokerage career, Scott has remained actively engaged in community leadership. He is a member of the Lanier Forsyth Rotary Club (since 2017), a Distinguished Former President of North Gwinnett Kiwanis (2009), a former Chairperson of the Duluth Park and Recreation Advisory Board, and a Past President of the West Gwinnett Soccer Club.
